Our team successfully designed and constructed a high power test facility and run-up pad for the S-3 Viking and F-18 aircraft. This project had been previously attempted by two other groups, with the primary challenge being a natural spring that supplied water to wetlands located between the runway and navigable waters.

Despite the complexities involved, our experienced team was able to complete the project in just four months, all while ensuring that the delicate wetland ecosystem remained unaffected. Although the demolition of the Ocean Towers was unfortunate, we were grateful that the issue was discovered before residents had the chance to move in, ensuring their safety and well-being. Rather than simply disposing of the rubble, our team repurposed the materials in a way that would benefit the environment.

In collaboration with the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge, the rubble was transported from the Ocean Towers site to the refuge, where it was strategically placed along five thousand feet of shoreline.
